We use the words "I love you" all the time - even when life is difficult.  Love is an affirmation that we cherish others...particularly when challenges and struggles occur.  The same is true for the Lord:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son..."

These words are spoken to us in hope - that even when we make big mistakes God reaches out to us in love.  God remains faithful, welcoming, and present to us.  May we accept the love of God into our hearts and share that love with those placed before us.
