We forgive:

  1. Because the Lord commands us
  2. To imitate the Lord's example
  3. To be freed from the bondage of sin

And so...to whom do we have to say "I'm sorry" or "I forgive you" today?

Thanks, Fr. Andy, for reminding me that forgiveness is not an option but it is a command. I've struggled with this in the past and my inability to forgive has once again reared its ugly head over the last few days. It's tearing me up inside and making me miserable to be around. I will pray that I might find the strength to do what is right. Harboring resentment is useless.
